Question Throttle Position Sensor revving 2500 rpm's Help

I just changed my Throttle Position Sensor in my 1993 XLT and now my idle is at 2500 RPM's. I checked all the hoses and no leaks. Any ideas? I am stumped. Thanks!! This forum is awesome.

You have it set wrong. Many threads on here should help you. Don't drive it much like that, hard on the trans.

either set incorrectly, binding, upside down....or just possibly a bad one.

When you check it, make sure it moves smoothly and freely...any bind will not be good.

best of luck.

Thanks guys, I think you're correct about setting incorrectly. I'll take it apart and make sure it moves freely. Thanks again!!!
