Default Throttle Body Question

Hey guys,

1994 5.0l 4x4 aode/w

I was removing the IAC to clean it hoping to clear up a rough idle issue and noticed a small pool of coolant under the throttle body.
It seemed that the small coolant tube on the bottom of the throttle body had cracked.

I removed the TB and broke that tube in the process. Is this repairable? It looks like I should be able to remove the part that is broken off in the TB and replace it but I cant seem to find any reference to this anywhere.

If not could I use something like JB Weld to put the old one back on or is that a waste of time?

If you broke the nipple off the throttle body, JB weld is gonna be tough. Might want to make it easier and find a used TB

If it were mine I'd get a used throttle body from the junk yard!

Delete the coolant line, or thread the hole for a nipple.

Thank You Sean!

I was just wondering what, if any, problems would be caused by deleting this coolant line. Doesn't really look like it does much any way. guess I'll be putting this back together in the morning.

The 4.9s don't have anything like that, so I can't see it being that necessary.

By passed coolant passage, truck runs like a champ.... except for the erratic oil pressure guage. But thats another story.

Thanks to everyone for their input.
