Throttle body?
Hey all, I've got a real head scratcher here with my truck. 91 f150 302 4x4 with e4od. Truck say for awhile until I was able to run insurance on both of my trucks and when I got it going it ran great for the first couple weeks then idled real rough and ran like crap. I put new plugs wires cap rotor and iac on it. Ran fine for a couple days then started acting funky again.. after warming up it would die at idle and it seemed to have trouble deciding which gear it wanted to be in then the last time I was gonna drive it the throttle stuck where I put the gas. Cable wasn't froze up either.. So I changed the iac again thinking maybe it was faulty and when I started it and moved it around the driveway everything seemed to be fine. I haven't driven it since. Here I am 2 weeks later and go to drive it and the throttle sticks again.. Does that sound like a throttle body issue?
Is it sticking open or closed?
I worked on a Honda once that had a sticky throttle body issue where you'd feel a clunk through the pedal every time you tried to gas it. Turned out the stop screw on the butterfly had backed off just a little bit and was allowing the butterfly to close further than it was designed, leading to it binding

It doesn't seem to be sticking.. And it still looks clean. But it looks like on the engine side of the butterflies that there's a hole in between the 2 chambers going in. And from the way the hole looks (jagged not a perfect hole) I feel like that's not suppose to be there
