@fordkicksass- You know, I heard you either love a 4speed granny or you don't.
But thinking about it, even though id be getting in gear at lower rpm's, wouldn't i still get better gas mileage with an extra gear?
granted I'm only assuming, I'm by no means an expert.

Thanks again guys!
i have owned both. i didnt mind the 5 speed but i just wasnt built fur what i wanted the truck fur. i love my granny gear. it even tamed my lead foot. i shifted both trannys at 2k. dependin on how fast i wanted to get up to speed.lol. although i think it was because the engine was dieing in my first truck (5 speed) i was gettin 5MPG highway on a good day. my 4 speed gets 9 to 11 city. dependin on how i drive it. and i have towed/pulled stuff with my 4 speed that my 5 never would have.lol. but its not my decision.lol. i love my granny gear and would never trade it fur any tranny.lol.
