Default Tcase issue

I have a 85 F 150 and I was driving to work the other day and as I took off I herd a pop and lost all power to the wheels. At first I thought it was the clutch because I can put it thru the gears without pushing the clutch with the truck running. So I pulled it a part and replaced the clutch but still nothing. I'm thinking it's something in the tcase. I know that everything is working properly with the clutch and I know the trans is ok. I put the tcase the 2h 4h n and 4low and I have nothing. Any ideas what could be going on ?

I'm going to say its in your trans, The transfer case is after the transmission therefor it would not make it possible to be able to shift through gears while its running. There would be major gear grinding still.

Thanks for the help didn't see this till after I pulled tcase a part. Turns out it was the t case. I can take the input and out put shafts and spin the. Different directions in and position (2wheel 4 wheel and neutral). Nothing seems broken or stripped in the tcase. I already picked up a new tcase. It fixed it. Thanks for the help

Im guessing If you split your t case you'll find your chain snapped.

I actually did split it before buying the new one and the chain was fine. There was nothing broke and all the splines are fine.

I'm not sure. Correct me if I'm wrong but the chain is just to run the front wheels right? The main shaft runs the rears do even if the chain is removed it be truck should still mice lol
