Does anybody know if the tailgate off say a 1990 will fit my 88? I'm getting a little tired of th "rattle panel" thats on my tailgate. I would just take it off, but then it would look stuuuupid.

 

Anything from a 1980 thru 1996 f150 or 250 will fit, although you can get a brand new gate with no lettering or stampings for $79 at JC Whitneys. You would still have to paint it to match, but you might have to do that with a used one anyway. My aluminum panel doesn't rattle anymore. Some "special needs" forklift driver was less than skilled when loading my rig. At first I wanted to beat him, but then I realized he had already lost the big game of life. Oh, well
