I have a 93 f150 it has the tailgate that has the silver strip with the black plastic ford writin on it. I really like the older tailgates that have the bold F O R D lettering on it. Are they interchangeable? If so are all of the years?

 

Yup they are interchangeable. I have a 91 tailgate on my 96 that I have yet to get painted.

In good condition at least $100 not painted if not more.

 

I got lucky and only paid 50$ for mine.

 

I got lucky too I paid 80 for a rust free one that was like never used.

 

Do you guys know what year had the large bold ford lettering?

And y'all are sure it will fit my 93? All of the pins an lines are the same or are there things I need to change? Sorry if I'm seeming kinda rued. I don't mean to just trying to make sure before I get online and buy one :p

 

Yes ive have one on dads 94. There exactly the same mounting wise and the boxes from the trucks are the same too.
