Default Tachometers

Is there a way to add a tach onto a 95 f150? I have all the gages but the tach and am really missing it. Especially since i am having tranny issues at the moment and have to really pay attention as to what gear im in (automatic by the way). I was just curious if anyone has ever done this?
Thanks a lot

if you can find an OEM dash with a tach on ebay, its plug and play.
Works great in my 94.

I put a tach in my truck earlier this year. It was in the garage just sitting and I wanted one so...

All I had to do was splice into the signal wire in the harness for the dash (my dash didn't have a tach) and then wire up the rest of the wires. Works great

staying stock was what i was thinking about. Is there anything to know? How do you know if you have mechanical or electronic? Just by seeing if you have an actual speedo cable or just a harness? Is there any years to stick with also? Thanks a lot.
