Default Stuck window

Recently I tried to get my passenger window down on my 89 f150 now it's stuck all the way down. I've removed the door panel, speaker, all the wiring trying to get it back up. It's stuck down like something's holding it, it's winter and I just need it back up. What do I have to do to forcefully get it back up? It's a cheap truck so I'm not worried about the window working

Unbolt the window from the regulator and it should move freely.

Where is the bolt to do so?

Never mind. These are different. The end of the regulator slides into a rail on the window. You'll have to unbolt the regulator from the door panel (or punch out the rivets if it's never been replaced) to be able to move the window freely.

You may try removing the motor, if it's locked up it won't allow the regulator to move, once the motor is removed slide window all the way up manually and replace the motor, it will hold it in the up position.

I ended up drilling out the regulator and motor, removing them and then slide the window up and welded a peice of metal to the door to hold the window in the up position, I guess it will never move down again thanks for all the help guys

I know you say it's just an old work truck, but I saw today where rockauto has the motors and regulators pretty cheap. Just a thought. You might want to fix it, if you get tired of not having a working window.

those windows are notorious for getting stuck. I took a hammer and gave the regulator a couple of gentle whacks and I lubed the slide where the regulator travels. It was only stuck, and has worked fine ever since. Since I lubed the track in the door, and the tracks that the window slides up and down in, it works like a new one (goes up and down a lot faster). I have a 89 f150
