95 F150 xlt 4wd locking hubs and manual shifter shifted fine before I headed out to play today and shifted fine between 4HI AND 4LOW now won't shift to 2wd will still shift from 4HI to 4LOW I put in neutral and tried I tried letting truck roll forward and reverse still won't any ideas

 

The lever has to be pushed down to move back to 4 lo from 4 hi ,,could it be stuck down ? maybe try pulling it up in 4 hi then try to go to 2 hi,, I had to lube the hell out of the linkage on mine when i first got it , just an idea ..

 

I didn't try pulling up good idea I'll try first thing in the morning I did have to replace the acuator about a month ago I replaced with used one but lubed it and worked it and it seemed smooth prior to this luckily I was only about 5 miles from the house so just drove it home

 

Probably shifts between 4h and 2h if the truck is moving. Sounds like you probably tried it that way but worth a mention.
And you said "actuator". But it's a manual shift right ? With a shift lever on the floor ?
