Default Strange rattle. need help

Well guys heres my problem. I've heard this rattle ever since I bought my truck, I have my truck for about 8 months now. But anyway it never really bothered me until this winter. Because now I ride with the windows up, so its more noticeible now. I only hear the rattle at 1500-1600rpm's. I have checked everything I can think of... It sounds like its coming from the middle of the truck, towards the passenger side. The best way I can desricibe it is its like a metallic/ gurgling sound. Heres the info on my truck. I hope it helps. 95 f150, 4x4, 5spd, 5.0 v8. I appreciate the help in advance. Jim

Sounds like it could be the catalytic converter. Tap it with a mallet and see if it rattles. Wait for it to cool off.

Does it sound like it's inside the glove box? Could be the heater core - if it's plugged up, you'll hear coolant run through it, seems to be more evident when you're revving the motor. Sometimes this happens even if it's not plugged up, but you're low on coolant.

it deffinetly sounds like the heat shield on the catalytic converter is loose or falling off, my dads truck had the same problem and he just ripped the shield off and didnt hear anymore rattle

Could be the converter shield - they have metal clips that the screws run through to hold them on the converter. The clips rust, the shield rattles, you know the rest.
