Are the headers after market and is it a custom exhaust? Just wondering if the O2 sensors were put back on after the exhaust was modded. My buddy removed his O2 sensors when he made his own exhaust and never put them back on and it killed his gas mileage

do you still have cats. on the truck? but yeah it shouldnt affect you mpg. the only reason ur buddy get bad mpg cause his o2 sensor is not reading. tell him to find a spot to put it on the exhaust or he can also purchase kits to put the o2 sensor back in the exhaust

Thanks for the advice, i would let my friend know if he hadn't rolled that truck and totaled it a couple years back. I think he was just too lazy to weld in some bungs and replace the O2 sensors.

the only way that it makes your gas mileage for the worse is that you will like the sound more and stay on the gas more to hear it lol
