1996 Redneck F150

Hey guys, I normally don't post threads on here unless I really junked something out on my truck, but my boss just bought a 96 F-250 4x4 single cab, long wheelbase truck. It has the 7.3 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel with an automatic trans in it. He's buying the truck for 500 bucks, and all that I could see about it, was it needed the front tires pumped up, paint, and a tailgate. He told me that the motor was "juiced" up a tad bit and it runs like a dream. Naturally like any other Ford fan, he couldn't pass the offer up. He's buying the truck because it's an AWESOME deal, but he said he wishes it was an extended cab truck. He asked me what all he would need to make it extended cab, and I told him that I have nooo idea. So I'll leave it up to you guys. What all does he need to make this beast extended cab?

The easiest way to do this would be to get a cab and bed from an extended cab- short bed truck. But you would still have to extend his frame 5 inches because the reg cab long bed has a 133" wheel base, and the extended cab short bed has a 138" wheel base. You would also need the dirveshaft, some of the wiring, and brake lines out of the extended cab truck because of the extra length.
It would probably be easier to just put his drivetrain in an extended cab truck if he wants an extended cab that bad.
