What does "don't drive right" mean? Is there still play in the steering? If so, there's 2 joints in the steering column that can loosen up and cause play, also adjusting the gearbox doesn't do much if it's already worn out. Mine is worn out, and I tightened it in some, but it still has gear box play. The only fix is paying 149 for a new one.

Eh, for what it's worth - I tried tightening the magic screw on the steering gearbox. Sure enough, the steering wheel felt tighter, but it still wandered all over the road. Perhaps I went too far, as when making a turn, the steering would stay in the position held instead of having the normal tendency to want to straighten out.

At any rate - backed things off, decided to live with the free play until things get to the point of replacing the steering box.

Mine felt like that also and I tightened that screw 1/8 of a turn at a time. Go slowly and barely most that screw it should tighten up some. Check tie rods and drag links and ***** joints.

If the tie rods have any play at all just replace them. I did mine and with a 20 dollar voucher in rewards points at autozone, I only paid 10 bucks to do both sides. Made a big difference. My box is still worn out, but I don't want to replace it until it gets a little worse.
