Angry Starting Troubles

my 96 f150 on ocassion lately will have trouble starting when its cold. It will do one of two things. either it will turn over and wont start and ill hae to pump the pedal and rev the engine. or immediatley after it starts a rattling noise comes from somewhere in the engine compartment. I know it need new spark plugs and wires. but does it also need a starter or something else also? Im going to be selling this truck soon but i dont want to sell it having it sart rough.

if your having to pump the gas when you start it in the mornings, then more than likely your IAC (Idle Air Control) sensor is bad.... it's an easy fix

clean the IAC sensor and the hole in the throttle body that the valve goes into.... im talking about cleaning the carbon out (to be more specific).... if that doesn't help, then replace the IAC sensor.... do you know where the IAC sensor is located?

look for this on the throttle body... it should be around where the air box hose connects
