Default Starter?

Hey everyone,

I was driving to a triathlon this morning and I put the key in to start it. The first time I tried to engage the starter, it cranked a couple times and then let go/quit. The second time I turned the key I didn't get anything, and the third time it finally started. Now I'm in the parking lot and I'm not getting anything but one click. Is my starter fried or is it my coil? Is there any way to test it?

Thanks!

Bench test your starter with a 12 volt

Check and clean your connections to your battery, on the starter and solenoid. If still nothing you can have the starter tested. If the starter acts fine quite possibly your fender relay.

Thank you, I checked and the connection to my solenoid needed to be cleaned. Works fine now.
