Default stand alone ignition

Has anyone converted to a full msd ignition without messing up anything else such as the sensors or injection?

completely do away with ford ignition, and use msd ignition, remove stock dist, disconnect stock module, install duraspark 2 dist w\2 wire pickup, and use only the msd to control ignition.

You have to sync w/ the ECU if you want computer timing advance among some other things. Gotta go through the TFI.
