93 only runs 10 minutes per selector cycle
i have a 93 f150 302 auto dual tanks i have a ton of help from everyone here thanks! now after new pumps filters ect.. i have two alternate every ten minutes between front and rear tanks via the selector switch, the i can say abou 75% certain its electrical but ???? if i spice in a 12 supply to rear tank i here it run but truck still starts sputtering until i switch to front tank. ten minutes per tank back and forth I also noticed iif i drive faster or more aggressive i can only run 56 minutes before switching tanks uneder load worse too. i ran with out caps with vents removed from tanks ,i can blow thru the vents so i asumme both ok? so is it reguilator shut of the diodes? a ground issuse again? if anyone leans towards rep[laceing pumps no i have had 3 in each new used untested and used one from my running truck i have two trucks same evrything but color so unless 6 pumps as well as originl all bad it aint the pumps the truck is a beater so i cut holes in bed and madeinto acess hatches for the pumps it will run everyaday but im gonna wear ot the switch this way it has been replaced too. i will wire direct with toggle switch run one tank only heck maybe even put a gas can on rtoof and gravity feed the motor... so any solutions are much apprciated and budget will not allow for throwing parts at it sorry for spellin and grammer or lack of i learned from early culyer hope you can help sean i se you are on the fuel issuse us no nothings post you are awesome pluss the shirt sayin funny too

ony 5-6 minutes
It sputters quicker if i go faster or underload,When switced to other tank it does run fine again (for the 10 minutes) \. It seams worse today like only 5 minutes per cycle and it seams as tho it runs longer on the back tank. I also remembered the front pump in tank was only changed the one time and charcol canister was removed and blocked now replaced as well as the vapor coffee can thing on wheel well. possably ran just a slight bit longer per change with more fuel in tank i got the other tank pump from my other truck and can try it. i also opened up the housing on the rear pump assembly (a real pain) changed out the pump part wich had what looked like dryer lint in it, i didn check the check valve like a dummy , i put that assmy in rear tank and it chaged nothing acted the same butwas quiter. off subject why does it seam like nobody every try opening the pump housing getting the tank off the 1st time is much harder i actaully thought about taking a spare pump and making it an inline pump to see what happened. one more not i picked up a pressure regulator gonna try it i guess thanks so much sean dig the quotes and pic.. only dogs can hear hahhaha

We'd do it

Just changing the pump itself doesn't fix the fuel problems with these trucks. Better to just change the whole assembly which comes with the valve. Using only an inline probably wouldn't work well. My older system has the inline high pressure pump but still has in tank low pressure ones. I also have a different valve, which apparently has problems too but mine is fine.
