I have a 90 f150 with the 4.9.. Some times the engine sputters and wobblels when taking off from a stopp. But before hitting the gas it seems to run fine. Some times at a complete stop it will just randomly shake for a second or two.

I replaced the spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor.

Could this mean the fuel filter should be changed? It never seems to spudder at high speeds, or stall when moving. Maybe the timing needs to be adjusted? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
