Default New guy looking for advice

Hey everybody I've got some questions I'm getting an 89 F-150 with a 300 Straight 6 with a 5 speed manual transmission and I want to make some custom modification. I was looking at and MSD Ignition module, ACCEL Coil, ACCEL Distributor cap and rotor, ACCEL wires and ACCEL plugs. ACCEL injectors, K&N cold air intake, Airaid throttle body spacer, and hooker header, dynaflow catalytic converter, and flowmaster series 40 single inlet dual outlet exhaust. Is it too much is some of it pointless or would everything add up to an all right truck.

The throttle body spacer would be a waste of money

No they don't just do anything for our trucks but make it whistle. Throttle body spacers are better for tbi and carbs where fuel and air enter in at the same place

X2, Spacers are just to add air volume and acts like a heat insulator for the air, they really don't serve a purpose, just a paper weight.

If you could find an intake spacer for yours I'd recomend one I installed a 1in spacer on mine have yet to see personal results because of sending my truck to the shop with ignition problems but from research it improves the torque curve and economy slightly

Intake and throttle body spacers end up accomplishing the same thing in slightly different ways. Either way, they're almost always worthless. Unless there was some functional reason you need to reduce the heat soaking into the intake, I'd avoid them completely. Waste of money.
