Default Spring mounts

Good afternoon all. I am new to OBS trucks and just want to know if the spring mounts look right on my 95 F150 4.9 4x2. I have everything needed to rebuild the front suspension, I just want to make sure the perches are good to go. Thanks in advance. If interested I am going with all MOOG parts and 824 springs.

That nub sticking down needs to be in the groove to the right of it on the 2nd pic so it sits flat. You'll have to loosen everything up and get the weight off to move it over.

Fuelboy, thank you for pointing that out. Who knows how long that’s been like that! I may start this project tomorrow.

Sometimes that stuff moves around a bit when you're putting things back together. You'll see when you do it yourself.

Not sure if you are aware but that is a aftermarket leveling spacer at the bottom of the spring. I think the spacer might need to be removed to fit the 824 springs.

sdmartin65 I was not aware that it could be an after market spacer. The truck has the factory looking stance (front way lower than rear) which is why I bought the taller springs. I was looking for images of stock perches (no luck) to compare mine to and parts stores to purchase/compare replacements to mine. I am looking into this now as I do not want to get into my job and not have everything I need to complete the job the right way. Thank for pointing it out to me.

Default Coil Spring Insulators

I am going to install the MOOG 824 springs on my truck and they did not come with spring insulator/isolater and I have not been able to find them online. Do I really need them and if so does anyone know where to get them from (rockauto does not have them). Thanks in advance.
