Default Speedometer reading

Hello yet another post for my falling apart truck.
When I installed my new clutch I replaced the speedometer gears.
Speedometer seams to work with very minimal jump to it, I hooked up my GPS and
the faster I go the more out of wack my reading is.
It reads about 10 kmph to slow.

Not sure what could be causing this, I will check the gears again to make sure there ok.
After that its down to the dash and the cable, not sure if the cable could cause such a thing.

I appreciate any input and thanks for all the help in my “tap water in radiator” post
I will be changing that in the next few days and have a lot better idea of how im going to go about it.

I do have a couple other things I have to fix but one thing at a time.

the gps reading? its going to be way off. get a pals car or truck head out on the freeway and see if its right. the gps will always be way off of the correct speed and place where you are its sending a message to the ionosphere then to 2 other satellites the back down to where it thinks you are.

I don't think so bud, my GPS is right on.

Make sure the cable isn't binding, I had mine snap because I didn't reposition it correctly after hooking it back up.
