Default speedometer problem
my friend said the reason my speedometer doesnt work is a relay for my speedometer. is that true? my truck is a 1990 f150 4x4

You friend is a dumbass. Your speedometer is mechanical, start by checking the cable. Unhook it from the transfer case and spin it with your fingers and see if the needle moves.
