I don't want to delete the smog. I just want a pump that doesn't squeak. Too much to ask for???

 

guess not but, sounds like your not getting any results.. if your not required to get a smog check remove the damn thing and be done with it.. just my thoughts.

 

I don't want to have to get rid of the egr, crossover tube, cats, and all the miscellaneous junk along with the pump.

 

Correct. Im trying to find out how. There is no delete kits like for Mustangs, etc.


The belt has to go around those pulleys to work everything else. Im not gonna redo the whole front drive accessories. I just need a delete pulley kit.


Is the front drive same as Mustangs? I cant remember, I think they are. If so, yes all my smog stuff is delted except the pulley/pump themselves.

I think Im just gonna put thin ALuminum Flashing Roll for roofs to block the EGR instead of deleting the entire EGR system.


Hot Exhaust gases won't enter the manifold but it can still operate without removing all of it, if you just block off the port at the manifold.
