Starts fine, runs fine, but while driving the motor cuts out, fires again, sometimes dies when I come to a stop, but starts right up, has gas, did the shake test while running, I changed the main fuel filter, the tank filter is clear, I looked at it when I changed the tank, problem is I cant check whats wrong because it only happens intermittent, not when I want it to happen while it is in my driveway. I barely got it home friday, after the filter change, I went to the Home Depot and it only cut out once, is there any way to test the ign modules? I have a couple but they are the ones that go on the dist, my truck goes on the firewall, I checked the tps, is there anything else I should check?

 

The auto parts store will test the ICM for you. Next time it cuts out immediately check for spark and/or carry starting fluid with you to see if it will fire up with that. Air or fuel, you're not getting one.
