i got a 93 f150 4.9l 5spd 4x4, i was wondering about putting a side pipe on my truck with a flowmaster 40(maybe just run a y pipe with no flowmaster 40). does any1 that has side pipes have problems with the noise? or is it not that loud. im thinking that the exhaust noise would be bad in the cab.

 

i had 3 1/2 inch pipe no muffler empty cat and it was loud but not horrible

 

I'm pretty sure side pipes are illegal.
