Suggest to get the battery and alternator tested. Couple of possibilities come to mind - shorted cells in the battery or a failed regulator in the alternator. Given the voltmeter reads 14, which would be expected, and needing to jump start - leaning towards the battery, with the information given.

However, recommend to test before replacement. Replacing good parts with good parts is money-for-nothing, and no chicks for free.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

With a new battery - things ought to rock-n-roll.

Good electrical cables and connections are a must, due to the high current drawn. Suggest to inspect, clean, and tighten all of the 'big' cable connections. Give a good look at the cable entering the battery connectors - had an instance where slow starting was traced to corroded wiring just under the cable insulation.

Then, there's always the starter....

I would change the positive battery cable with the largest one you can find.
