Default serious chassis help!!!

i have a 1987 f150 4x2 is the 1987 f250 chassis 4x2 the same

reason i ask this is cause im putting a 10.25 rear and its a 8 lug so i have to change the front spindles to the dual caliper larger rotor with 8 lugs. now is the chassis the same or how about the ball joints where the i beam frames conect to the spindles is it possible to just to change the spindles or do i have to take it from the frames i beams now what i really want to know is if the chassis's are the same then i can just switch the suspension out from a f250

ok I think I have what you want.

the beam that is on the passenger side has the following on it (it's a bit hard to read from the rust but I think this is what it says)

E7T 6 - AC

the 6 might be a G, it's hard to tell

the one on the driver side says

E7T - 7 - AC

at least I think that's what I think it says through the corrosion

on the driver side beam, to the left of the "ford" logo, there are also the numbers 1147

on the passenger side, to the right of the logo, there are the numbers 1007.

this is all read laying on my belly under the front bumper looking toward the rear of the truck.

hope that helps?

To simplify your question, yes the actual chassis are the same, there might be different brackets if the truck has leaf fronts, and the heavier suspension, otherwise they are the same, I believe the I beams are the same the spindles might be different for the larger rotor.
