Default Selling :(

Hey guys!

Been a month since I've been on here.

Anyways today I found I have to sell my truck. I don't have the money or time to fix her my way.

What I've got is a '93 F150 XLT 5.0 with New exhaust dual glass packs into a single outlet. Motor has 50,xxx but it sat for a bit and the gaskets need picking up. I have a rear main seal leak but am doing that next weekend. Interior the carpet just got ripped out on the front to find a leak and stop it (Done). It's got new tires at $1200 with about 4k on them. Truck has typical Minnesota Cancer but isn't terrible. I've babied this thing for over a year and well I have to let her go.

Issue is I don't want it to go to some slack jawed idiot who can't tell the hard work I've put into it.

Any thoughts on price?

For pictures check my profile. I'm on my work computer.

It looks like a nice truck, and I know what you mean by putting a lot of work into it. Being a 4x4 will increase its value, but one thing I have learned when selling vehicles is that just because it has sentimental value, and some sweat put into it, doesnt mean it's worth 10x more.

Here in Florida that truck would sell for about 2k, mainly because of the rust, not many people want to take the time to repair rust. If it didn't have all the rust, a 4x4 extended cab would go for about 3.5k.

Could be worth more where you are, I don't know though. Try checking Craiglist and compare prices.

It don`t matter how much work u put in to it to me or to others. What matters is how much work does it need to roll right. Rust and leaks are going to be ur biggest down fall. Are you going to put the carpet back in? Always circle the answer not the problem, right?

That truck wouldn't go for no 2k in Florida. Not in this part of Florida.

Sure it would, depending on the front end, that could be worth over 1k itself. Check Craigslist, I've LITERALY looked at every F150/F250/F350 in Tampa Bay and Orlando.

I always check Craigslist, and I always see them not selling.

i can't see it going for much more than $1500. i'd start out asking $2000 and see what kind of offers you get
