Worth it! Worth it! Worth it!
It cleans out the carbon build up in the intake and fuel system. Makes your truck run better, improves power, and yes can increase mpg!
Now tell me if that is not worth $9.00 and 20 minutes of time.
Plus a bonus of lots of smoke in the neighborhood to get the old lady next door talking.

I'm a big fan of Seafoam. The stuff seriously works. Both the engine treatment and the transtune.

Using the seafoam in the crank case will help remove deposits and from my experience, my oil stays the clear amber color for thousands of miles after running seafoam for a short while to initially clean the engine out. Most only use it for about 100 to 200 miles at the end of the oil change. I do it for about 2,000 to 3,000 miles in my oil before draining. Afterwards, you shouldn't need it anymore if you're using a decent oil and a decent filter and changing it regularly.

Also, as mentioned above, it cleans out the intake and fuel system as well. Usually, it cleans carbon out, which results in a better running engine.

I searched for a procedure on how to use it, but came up empty. Could someone post a link or instructions please?

I put the seafoam in through the vacuum line that runs off the brake control right on the drivers side firewall. It worked well as it sat, I have no complaints about what came out of the truck at all

Pull the hose off the booster and pour it in? Engine running or not?

Engine running, it will run rough when you pull off the vacuum line, but will continue to run, just SLOWLY pour in the seafoam. It really does work best if you can raise the idle up to 1500-2000 RPM as well.
