I'm just trying to help everyone else out. I was searching tires one day an stumbled on an international scout forum and those guys don't like running 33's on the DANA 44.

Now if you rebuilt them with chromalloy axle shafts I would say you could almost run 40's if the knuckles could handle it.

I thought that was kind of ridiculous. I run 33's. I'll run 37's when I get my truck where I want it. But no more. Plus, tires are getting stupid expensive

There's a reason people use Dana 60's when the SAS.

I'm not salty towards it. Just saying, tryin to help everyone else out.

And just because its been rebuilt doesn't mean it's stronger. It just means you'll break brand new ****.

You should be fine with 37's, say if you spent an entire day on the trails/mud once a month.

They will take a beating, but they won't like it. Not to mention your alignment will be fugged up all the time.
