Default rough start problems

hi, im new to the forums here. i have a 1990 f150, theres alot of work to be done on it and it isnt in the greatest shape. the biggest annoyance i have with it though is that it will almost never start in one crank. it will start up and then die on the first crank, the second one will usually start it though. it then runs unsteady for about 30 seconds, after that it runs fine, idles fine, etc. what would cause this unsteady start? it recently had the coil, ignition module, plugs, wires, and all the filters replaced in a tunup, but it still does it. any ideas?

edit: it doesnt burn any oil that i know of, but it does leak quite abit. it only leaks when its running tho, it leaks about a quart every 400 miles or so.

Pull codes then check fuel pressure (key on engine off, while running, and 2-4 minutes after shutting off to check for bleed-down).

What he said ^^^. And make sure you turn the key to "on" and let it prime for a couple of seconds before hitting "start".
