Default Picked this up yesterday

SO... just hanging out on a rainy day when someone posts a 95 Explorer 4wd for $1,000. Looked in pretty good shape so I went to check it out and ended up bringing it home with me. Has a little issue with hard to turn wheel (going to flush the power steering-fingers crossed) and a bad tick from what appears to be just a bad plug. Anyway, here she is picked right out of the corn fields of Iowa.

No rips, a few stains that a little LA's Totally Awesome and my carpet shampooer should take out. Seats are super comfy! Has 233,050 miles, must be all highway because the seats don't show any wear signs of someone getting in/out a lot, unlike my truck.

Not sure how to explain this new purchase to the GF yet so it's sitting halfway down the block.

That's easy. Fix it up and give it to her. Then when you find your (next) dream fixer-upper, you have already purchased eye-roll insurance

Didn't work, got her a perfect Eldorado last year, she complained cause her little saturn sucked to drive on our street (horrible roads), so I got her a caddy. She loves the ride but still hates that I have zero impulse control when it comes to a vehicle I like.
