Default Running like a jaloppy. Transmission? Electrical?

1992 F150
5.0, E4OD
112,700 miles

So lately I've been driving around, and it feels like my truck is kicking, only really during cruising speeds. a little bit of a shuddering idle, but not much. Sometimes I'll be driving up an overpass, and it seems like the transmission is screwing around, i get a few kicks as the RPM's jump around a little bit, then it shifts down and I get going fine. also lags to shift to second sometimes, but not too much. No issues going into reverse or drive. A few months ago I brought the truck in because it seemed like it was lacking power, so they flushed the transmission and replaced the filter too. drove fine then...
Just put a new battery in, and the alternator squeals sometimes, its a cheap 130 amp... (heard these problems can be electrical)
What do?

in that case you probably do wanna save up for a new tranny, or rebuild the one you have and see if that fix's the problems.

he went and bought a new srarter, but my dad also did alot of searching and found out that there was a 99 cent starter bushing, he went out and there was no bushing , he went to a vw dealer about 40-50 miles away and had to pay a couple dollars shipping for a 99 cent part, but after he went to pick the bushing he opened the box and there were 5 bushings , paid for one and got 4 for free and it has been starting great ever scince.
