Default Replacing Front Chrome Bumper?

My 1995 F-150 only has 47,000 miles on it.But for some reason the Chrome on the Top part of my Bumper started to Bubble up,and of course it then started Chipping off.So I first thought about getting it rechromed since it's in perfect shape other than the couple of bad spots in the Chrome, but I couldn't find a place near me that does that.I then thought about Salvage Yards, but none near me had anything in LN condition.I'd Love to be able to get one from Ford, but I don't think they have any OEM Replacements left,so now I'm left with a Aftermarket Replacement Bumper.Mine has the Black Trim Piece, and I want to stick with that look. The Ford Part Number for it is F2TZ-17757-B,at least I'm pretty sure that's it....I see the Aftermarket Replacements on e-Bay-LMC & other places but don't know what Place would have the Very best quality Chrome Bumper. So if anyone here has bought a Replacement Bumper tell me how good it is,and where you bought it.Or if you know of a Good Used one thats in great shape,or even know where a Ford NOS OEM one is Let me know..Thanks...

Either LMC truck or NPD have them listed in the catalogs. Closest to new OEM you can find.

I just got my NPD Catalog Today, and from what I get is they have NOS Ford OEM Bumpers for $500 Bucks.Man thats a lot to pay for a Bumper, even if it's a OEM Ford piece.I'm going to give them a call to see if it really is a OEM Bumper .

For 500 build a bumper and get it powdercoated in chrome (yes, they can do that!)

Look up crash parts, auto body parts etc in your area. I got a new bumper, the black bumpstrip, and the lower valance all for around $175 from a local supplier. The metal isn't quite as thick as the stock one but it is strong enough and is brand new.

I'm bringing this back up because I still haven't bought a replacement Bumper yet,I put it at the bottom of my List of Parts I was wanting to replace. Now that I'm ready to buy one I was checking out LMC,and they have what they call a Premium Chrome Bumper & just a Chrome Bumper. The price difference between them is only about $20,so I was wondering what that Premium & the $20 gets you? I also found one made by Sherman on Summit for $287.97,thats way higher than all of the other Aftermarket Bumpers. So I was wondering if the quality is a lot better on it,or is it just the higher Price that makes it stand out from the others. And if anyone here has bought one of the Aftermarket replacements post up a good Pic of it,and tell me how you like the quality..
