Default Replacing Factory Gauges

Hey all. I have a 94, wondering if any of you have replaced your factory dash gauges with aftermarket. Have seen a couple pictures of this, been thinking about it, then again thinking of just leaving it factory stock. How difficult is it to do? Doesnt seem like it would be hard at all.. but a lot of things seem like they shouldnt be difficult and... well... we all know how that goes sometimes. If you have done this, share how the experience went on installing, price, brand, where bought, etc... also, some pictures would be nice.
Thanks all!

The gauge cluster is tied into many different systems on our trucks . Charging system and the like. You can only put certain year clusters into certain year trucks ie. 92 -93 , 94-95,96-97 . Or things will not work. From gauges not working to burnt alt's and the like . The speedometer is electric and brakes or tied into that .

You can do it . will take some wiring diagram look over.

You can peel the Green film off stock gauges and put in any color bulbs . A simple cool mod. I use pod pillar mount gauges to keep eye on trans, engine oil and the like.

Good luck
