Take the bed off

 

You don't have to take it all of the way off u can just un bolt it and slide the bed back enogh so that you can paint between it

 

Yeah didn't really think about it too much but that would definitely work

Ya I figured that would be a little easyer than finding a place to set the box

 

I ran into that same problem, but since I was painting in a parking lot I didn't have the luxury if taking the bed off, my truck was red so I decided to go with red on the bottom just because i wouldn't need to paint in-between, even if u want to change colors

But one option would be to paint in between with a spray can, just paint it black because u only really see in-between at the right angle, I am usually super picky but you really can't tell

And you are going to love the paint when it's done, just be ready to put some work in

 

Work allways pays off in the end when it turns out good
