Default Removing utility bed

so i got an 89 f250 for free but the bad thing is that it came with this useless ugly work box on it..my dad says that they weld these things on the frame but i was told that they only use nuts and bolts... wanna take this ugly piece of **** off ASAP and want to know how much a used replacement bed would cost, how much labor would cost to have it removed and how much it would cost to have it painted to body color thanks

painting it body color isnt the biggest deal. i just want it off and a real, usable bed on...8 ft bed with dual tanks

man that is a highdollar box. I would keep that on, and buy a a single axle 10-12' trailer if I needed to haul anything.

If it were me I'd throw it on craigslist with a 'you pull it' stipulation...make some money and have it removed. Unless it's welded to the frame.

yeah its an all aluminum box vintage 1989 but theres no rust what so ever and everytthing works like the doors and shelves..ive already tried putting an ad on craigslist trying to sell just the box but being that im in alaska theres literally no market for old **** like this..
