Default removing bed tips?

this summer im going to need to replace the bed on my 1993 f150 4x4 ext cab. i've got a bed picked out and everything, but as far as removal, do you guys have any tips and tricks? or will my hanes manual cover it pretty good? i know i'll have to make sure both tanks are empty or at lease very close to it. and i need to replace my rear tank anyways. but as far as wiring and all that.... just label and set to the side?

Tanks dont need to be empty. 6 bolts undo the fuel filler necks and lift it off

Literally as easy as that. Also look and make sure your license plate light wires are clear of anything, probably will be but it doesn't hurt to look.

i need to replace my rear fuel tank, so thats coming down regardless. but i didnt know if i'd be able to reach the rear two bolts that hold the bed down with too much hassle. i'm glad its not going to be too much of a hassle though.

thanks for the info!!
