SOOOO back to my thread lol
so then I am back to the 351 then considering I would really like to avoid the transmission swap and the fact that the 351 will bolt up to my existing trans and transfer case i would save quite a bit considering I could just find a 2wd f150 with the 351 instead of basically building a f250 out of an f150.

302s are great but I would be looking for a mild build if i even do build it up just looking for a bit more power in the top end then the I6 I have now.

Not looking to make a Muscle truck just a v8 4x4 that would be nice to drive

That doesn't make any sense, you can't really have two different engines with different displacement in litres but not cubic inches.... Sorry, only the 5.8 exists.

Default I know old thread but joined just to comment

To all the geniuses stating what does or doesn't exist and a 5.9L is exclusive to the dodge cumins , all wrong Ford had a 5.9L gasser engine up till 1977 yes it was a 361 but still was and is a Ford 5.9L so there
