Radius Arm Question??
I bought my 1995 F-150 a few Months back, and it has a Rough Country 2.5" Lift on it.At least I think that's what it has,the Guy I bought it from had it done..And I have the Radius Arm Rub when I do a full turn of the Wheel. So I was thinking about changing out my Stock Radius Arms for a Aftermarket Set,and that way I'll get Rid of the Rub.So I was wanting to Ask what would be the Best Set for what I need? Here's a Pic of my Truck to get an Idea of how it Sets..
extended radius arms are designed for 4-6" lifts and will mess up the geometry of the suspension.
the only way to fix the rub is to get smaller tires or aftermarket rims with less backspacing.
or you could lift it up higher had then get the extended radius arms.

you mean more backspacing and thats what i'd do. new rims can be had for pretty cheap it you look around
i've got 1.5" back spaced wheels, over half of the tire sticks out of the side of the truck.
you cant even see my hubs or lockouts in the picture the wheels are so deep.

Since I really like the Stock Ford Rims I guess it's either deal with it,or go with the Spacers. And I'm not 100% Sure what Size Tires are on it right now,I'll have to go out & check it out.But I'm thinking they are BF Goodrich AT's in 33x12.50.

All other things kept the same, INCREASING backspacing will MOVE the inner edge of the tire FURTHER inboard, creating MORE rubbing issues.
DECREASING backspacing will move the inner tire edge outwards, helping the rubbing issue, but creating new ones, tire will now throw **** on the windshield, offset difference may create shorter wheel bearing life, etc.
