Default Radius Arm Bracket broke

So my radius arm bracket rusted through on the passenger side, the driver's side bracket is still fine. I need some kind of quick fix or something cause I need to drive about 6 miles to school in the morning. I drove around the block after it broke and the truck seemed perfectly fine, even put it in 4wd so I could park in front of my house(snow, nowhere else to go). My question is how dangerous is it to drive and what's the absolute worst that can happen? Is there any quick fix before I get the part from advance late this week.

Short of ratchet strapping it tight to the frame......there is no quick fix...replacement is definitely in order and ASAP.

if you could show a pic...it would be best to help figure something out.

you may need to just miss a day of school to get this fixed!

The worst that could happen is your entire front axle falling into the road.... the radius arm is the front end's main support... But thats not that bad I guess

Alright so I called the Ford dealer and they have the updated one in stock. My new question is how simple is it to replace this thing since it already broke I don't have to fight to get the arm out but how do I get it back in?

No, unbolt the radius arm from the bracket then grind the rivets off that hold the bracket to the frame. When you put the new bracket on, replace the rivets with bolts.
