Default Radiator drain plug broke off

well i didnt know it waqs on my way to work got a new one put it in, now seems to be running hotter than it did before by the wat did run hot on the way to work not batenough for head gasket stopeed three times let it cool added water but do i need to replace themostat since it got so hot, i drove it home 18 miles didnt run hot but ran warmer its a 1996 straight 6cyl checked all hoses fine no leaking under it what would u do thanks

When the engine is cold after sitting pull the cap and service the radiator all the way up also service overflow bottle.

What would I do? I would use more periods, capital letters and maybe even spellcheck.
