Default Radiator??

I'm pulling a small 5th wheel trailer. 1994 F150 XLT Super Cab, 302 V8, E04D,4x4, Factory Tow Pkg. Anyway I pulled the 5th wheel up a long steep grade the temp went up almost to boil over {I pulled over let it cool before proceeding} My question is does anyone have a recommendation as to replacement Rad
1. 3 row Alum
2. 4 row Brass
Both about the same price $250
Thanks

No way put a 4 core in it, you've got plenty of room for it and your engine will thank you if your pullin a 5th wheel like that. While you have the rad out put a new thermostat in too...the 10 bucks is worth it.

Like the 4 row myself, was the AC on during the pull? Using it and coupled with the auto trans, the cooling air across the radiator raises the ambient air flow.

Default Radiator

Thanks for the help and answers. I put in new alum HD three row radiator,
new water pump, new extreme duty fan clutch. thermostat 180, hoses. I think that'll do it. I sure appreciate the help you guys are on this forum sometimes I need alittle reassurance.
Thanks again, Barry

the 3 row aluminum is way more efficient than the 4 row brass....you made the right choice
