will factory rims off of a 98 4x4 F150, fit on my 96 4x4 F150? I searched the threads and couldn't find the answer

nope i dont beleive so...there off by just a little bit...might be able to drill out and put them on but that would be sketchy... i tried to put some wheels off a 98 on my 89 f150 and i had to drill them out a little ...and then decided not to use them ...

the thing is, the rims im wanting to put on it, aren't mine.... im borrowing them off one of my buddies, so i can get an inspection sticker, and to raise a little hell with pizza cuttin tires on the truck haha my tires stick out the sides of my truck about 1/4 inch, and with the WV state law, thats illegal.... and im not about to put gay fender flares on my truck lol

No they won't. 1998 lug pattern = 5x135mm 1996 F150 lug pattern = 5x139.7 or "5x5.5" pattern, same thing. The older truck has a larger wheel pattern than the newer one. To this day, I still don't understand why Ford didn't just keep the same wheel pattern thru 2009
