Was kind of looking for opinions....pros vs cons.....stuff like that. Like I said before, just tossing around ideas....fix the truck up, put engine in my truck, put engine in an older mustang maybe... I'll ultimately decide when I next go back home and see the truck.

My opinion, I like old crap. I also like fuel injection. I would want to put the '92 engine in the '73.

I do, but I would take the engine out of the 73 and tear it apart and build it back up for my 92. Id get what I need to make it legal, can't be terribly difficult.

get an old 350 small block there a dime a dozen up here i almost picked one uo for 50 bucks as a cool coffee table idea

Id rebuild this 302 to put in my brothers old 80 cobra to replace the pansy *** four banger it came with (that he blew) before id put it in the F350....

was reading up some more...emissions is required in only five counties in Washington. Pretty much the most heavily populated ones and only in the most populated parts of those counties. So...even if I more or less put the 390 as is in my 92....in my county it wouldn't matter.

nice I would like to put a 7.3l in my f150 eventually but not sure. id really love to make something like this guy did
