Question about pulling codes.
Since posting a few weeks ago I have been cruising this site everyday. Tons of great info, thanks to all you guys with the knowledge for helping guys like me out who wish they knew...
I have several idle issues that I want to address but from reading other threads the general consensus is that I ought to pull codes first. I read the procedure a few times before going out to give it a go. I didn't see the house shaped connector as was shown in the "how-to" I'm not sure if I am looking in the right place but here are some pics of what I found and what I hope is what I need.
Its a 1990 F150 Lariat 5.0 Long bed 4x4.
Did I find the right connectors? In the second pic, is these what I connect with the wire? Does it matter which one I connect the test wire with?
Thanks for the help.

Two of your pictures aren't working, but the connectors should be in that holder marked "EEC Test". It looks like that's the single wire connector laying next to it. It probably fell out of the holder.
I tried two different ways to upload the two pics so the two that didn't work should be the same as the two that did.
So just connect the two holes with a wire after putting back the single that fell out and follow the how to then? Thanks.
