Default Put in an E fan yesterday.

As the title says I put an E-fan in my truck, I know I probably did not do it the proper way, but the fan is secure and works. the fan is out of a ford taurus, is wired to a switch in the dash, and sofar when I turn the fan on it cools the truck right down, and it appears to keep the truck cool at stop lights. AZFX4 has a few pictures of the install, so I will have to wait for him to give me the pics. Oh and the truck feels more powerful, I am just wondering what it will do to the mpgs

I'm with Dr bowtie. I also had a decent gain. I'd say around 3 mpg and much better response at highway speeds.

If I were you I would get rid of your manual switch and install a thermostatic switch. That way the fan only runs when it reaches the desired temp you choose. I know my fans never really kick in during the winter months, really helps save some gas.

It bolted right up out of a taurus? I'm impressed and now tempted to do this to my truck.

i wouldnt say bolt right up... we made a few trips to home depot for some steel straps and had to bend them into place.... when he ran the wires he had to drill 2 holes in the firewall... pretty much quick and painless
