Pulling Cab
Getting ready to pull the cab off my 93 Supercab (previously called it SuperCrew. I know better than that) 4x4 so I can get the frame blasted. I have a problem though. Everything I can find for info on this shows using a car lift to raise it. I don't have access to one. Has anyone done this without using a lift (or risking life and limb)?

The SuperCrew wasn't built (or named that) until after '97. Before that time, 4-door F150s were not offered. What exactly do you have? Click this, read the caption, and put all the details into your signature here:

4 guys should be able to lift the bed, but they'd need to be tall to lift it over the tires and walk it back to a stand (that you'll have to build & set up in advance). I wouldn't try that with the cab (unless you totally gut it first) - I'd either build a lift (which is easier & cheaper than it sounds) or lift it from below using jacks, piers, & beams and then roll the chassis out. we used 55 gallon drums and heavy timbers across them to lift the body up, roll out the chassis and go from there. I am sure it is not "approved" - but it works and you can do it with just another set of hands.
I have also participated in the 10 guys lifting and setting it ahead of the chassis.

Truck gets jacked way up and supported; cab gets blocked, frame gets lowered back down.
Sometimes pulling the wheels will get it a little lower/ narrower so you can pull the frame out from under.
Box and front clip off first of course.
Make sure there's room between your supports for the rear diff to come through.
I'm sure you can figure out the details from there.
