Default Pulled first couple sets of codes today

Got the 111 code for system pass on current problems and a code 334 for stored memory. I think that has something to do with the egr position sensor. can anyone shed some light?

EGR closed voltage higher than expected. It may be stuck open.

Borrowed my neighbors timing light. reset the timing to 10 BTDC and ran timing test. Topped out at about 25 BTDC which is real close to the normal range.

Ran the Engine running Key On test and got codes 311, 538, and 536.

After figuring out I needed to press brake pedal during the test and when i was supposed to do the WOT test I reran and just got code 311.

Makes sense seeing as there is no air pump on it any more.

I took the EGR sensor off and cleaned it up a bit. Cleared all the codes and called it a day

Results in lower RPM and no current skippage. Gonna run a bit over next couple days and report back.

You can get rid of smog pump codes without putting the pump back on. The control solenoids just need to be functional.
